Kollywood angry on Tollywood big heroes

Dearth of heroines is not new to Tollywood.Before the advent of Gen X, hunting for heroine beside senior heroes such as Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna was always tough task at hand for producers.Now-a-days with number of movies from senior heroes going down drastically,demand for specalized heroines went down.But this crunch of new heroines in film industry has taken a new turn with Gen X stars signing more movies every year.

Earlier Tollywood always relied on the Kollywood for heroines.As the new heroines are hardly seen these days and existing heroines occupied with back to back offers in Tollywood, Kollywood is facing huge heroine crisis."With Kajal, Thammanna, Samantha busy with Tollywood offers, Tamil producers are forced to adjust with Class B actress such as Richa, Deeksha Seth, Thapsee.Money is playing big role here;With Mahesh, NTR, Pawan doing more movies in a calendar year, those budgets movies offer huge money bags to heroines and they show least interest in Kollywood" said a Tamil producer.

"This clamouring for dates has resulted in a situation where heroines are demanding astronomical sums – almost all the heroines in the A list have breached the Rs. 1 crore mark." quoted a trade pundit from Tollywood.

With top heroines busy minting money in Tolly field and constant rejection from Bollywood heroines(Sonam, Kareena), Tamil producers are left with no option other than cursing big heroes of Tollywood and engage low profile actress even in high budget movies.
