Why Young Heroes Dream For Mass Image?

It has been a common trend among the Telugu heroes (including star kids) to make their presence felt as mass heroes. While some have clicked, many have tried but failed. While becoming a mass hero is not everyone’s cup of tea, here are some actors those want to get into that league.

One is Nikhil Siddarth and sources reveal he wants to become mass hero. Recently, Nikhil came up with the film ‘Veedu Theda’ and managed to portray a mass hero role, but was not that convincing for audience. Still it is heard that he wants to do only mass roles. The cine analysts say this won’t work if he has plans for a long term career.

They state “Nikhil has some image in youth and he has that urban look. If he keeps waiting only for mass roles then his career will burn and get ruined. It is about time he realizes to strike a balance between both genres and have an advantage over his contemporaries. Otherwise he has to end up with day dreams. First, he has to prove as a great independent performer without imitating Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja”

The other hero is Sharwanand. He did Raju Maharaju that turned a flop. That didn’t add any value to his career. He portrayed in Prasthanam but the credit has gone to director Deva Katta. Then he acted in Journey, but the character lacked some voltage and the credit has gone to director again. He is in indecisive vacillation with respect to picking up scripts. Whenever he is doing a mass role, the film is not being received by audience. And when he is doing meaty roles, the credit is bypassing directly to director. But still, Sharwanand is a true actor who has to focus only on meaty roles. His Amma Cheppindi is a great example for his acumen.

Then comes Tarakarathna who is again struggling to project himself as a mass hero just for being grandson of NTR. He is not a mass hero material and in fact even the class audience find hard to receive him. He needs to project himself as performer like many heroes in Tamil attempting to do. Vishal and Aadi Pinisetty being Telugu guys projecting their talent from Tamil screen. When they prove to be uncompromising performers, then they get the desired mass following. Tarakarathna may try that way. Otherwise, he will be a pain for audience. Nandeeshwarudu is one such bad example.

So, the bottom line is, every young hero shouldn’t take Mahesh Babu or NTR or Ram Charan as bench marks. Audiences are no fools to accept everyone on par with them. At the same time, audiences have big heart to invite any sincere performer.
