Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan Wedding
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, son of famous cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, entered into wedlock with Bollywood star Kareen Kapoor on October 16, 2012. The nikkah was held on October 21. Saif Ali Khan is 42 years old while Kareena Kapoor is 32 years old. While this was a second marriage for Saif, for Kareena it was her first wedding.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor appeared in many films together. They started seeing each other since 2007. They were said to be deeply in love with each other by the time they signed Kurbaan movie. The Wall Street Journal, which is published in the United States, has reported that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor wedding was social event of the year.
Their wedding ceremony was a grand affair that lasted for five days. At first, there was a pre-wedding bash at Kareena Kapoor's residence followed by a registered marriage at the court. Later, a lavish reception was thrown at Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai and to those in Delhi, a reception was arranged at Lutyens Bungalow Zone. Kareena continues to act after wedding unlike many actresses. She currently has two projects in hand. One being Prakash Jha's movie and the other one being a romantic comedy.
