‘Khaidi’ planned 3 yrs ago?

The news that Puri Jagannath is planning a remake of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi with Mahesh Babu spread like a fire in Tollywood, after Ram Gopal Varma tweeted in his account. The media was gung-ho about the report ever since. Though no official announcement came from either Puri or Mahesh in this regard, the Khaidi-remake certainly has the film-lovers in excitement. And now, the guru sishyas (RGV and Puri) are further adding to the curiosity of the public by exchanging words in Twitter. According to the Pokiri director, he planned the project with Mahesh three years back but had put it on ice for some reasons. But now, he confirmed to work on the script in the near future. “@RGVzoomin sir actually me n mahesh thought abt this three years bk coz we both love Chiru. Khaidi is our fav film. Very soon we will plan,” Puri chirped.
