After watching, have you felt 'Dookudu' as just an average movie? The answer from most of the non-Mahesh fans is 'Yes'. But how come the movie became a blockbuster hit? Some say, the comedy played a vital role and some say Mahesh's charisma is the only reason and some say both of these factors played their part.
But some analysts say that there is one more hidden factor also involved that no one has really observed until now. That is the control the producers of 'Dookudu' had on the piracy. They allocated a huge budget to control piracy and a team has monitored the internet continuously on 24x7 basis to see if any pirated version is uploaded or not and if it is uploaded, they brought that uploaded copy(torrent) down in minutes. This made a big difference. People were forced to go to theaters and the theaters were completely full for the whole first week in all those released centers. It elevated the initial Hit talk and the collections continued for first few weeks.
The pirated version was available on the eighth day after release, but the movie went to a safe position by then. On the other hand, the pirated version of 'Oosaravelli' released on the second day itself and it had big impact on the collections. Similarly for 'Panjaa', the pirated version was out on day two and it showed its effects.
