Mega director Shankar’s 3Rascals, the Telugu dubbed version of Nanban which in turn is the remake of Bollywood super hit 3-Idiots is slated for a release on January 26 in both Telugu and Tamil versions.
The latest news is producer Dil Raju has bought the theatrical rights of 3Rascals for the entire AP. The movie casts Vijay, Sriram, Jeeva and Ileana in the lead roles and Satyaraj, director SJ Suriya in prominent roles. Ileana is reprising the role of Kareena Kapoor in the original while Vijay stepped into Amir Khan’s shoes. Harris Jayraj is the music director for the film.
For the first time, Shankar is wielding the megaphone for a remake film and the expectations on the movie are too high in Kollywood.
