Pawan Kalyan's dream project Satyagrahi was announced 5 years back during audio release function of Bangaaram movie.It was publicized that A.M.Rathnam’s Sri Surya Movies banner is producing the movie. However movie was shelved due to unstated reasons.Recently there were news that Pawan Kalyan's is considering to restart the project.But as per recent media publication, this movie title was taken away a anonymous director Shashiverma.
"Akshay and Anjali as lead pair,Under the direction of Shashiverma, Ashok kumar Pinnishetty and Venkat reddy are producing Sathyagrahi.Movie audio is ready for release during pongal.Movie is about the atrocities in the current society.It is filled with moral values.Movie is made as a complete family entertainer" said producers in a pressmeet.
Pawan Kalyan even conducted a movie launch cermony and announced AR Rehman will score music for the movie.Whether Shashiverma got the clearance for using the title "Satyagrahi" is yet to be known.
