According to Puri Jagannath, he and Mahesh have thought of remaking Khaidi three years ago because both like Chiranjeevi and Khaidi Movie. With the leak of this news there has been some confusion in the minds of Mahesh Babu fans on how to react on this. On the other hand Mega fans are upset that Ram Charan Tej should be the first choice to do the lead role in the remake of Khaidi.
