However, things have changed now. A noted branding analyst said “The season 2 of CCL looks a lot improved. The players are playing well and the campaign for the event was very good. Even the performance of all the technical units and publicity teams improved in projecting the right image for CCL.”
He added “Stuff like having an exclusive calendar and creating a timely publicity has helped the event score a success. Ultimately, if you do the right kind of publicity, any event will be a success. Considering the branding and the level of competency CCL has developed, they can compete even with IPL. There is a good scope of success in the coming editions. The key here is to exploit the presence of media to the fullest.”
