Venkatesh becomes highest paid star in CCL 2 !

Now-a-days entire movie industry is busy with a new corporate activity CCL. Following the suit of IPL, filmy celebrities all over India decided to make haphazard star cricket tourni into a more structured way, with a corporate coloring. Recently a surprising news about the remuneration packages offered to celebrities is raising many eyebrows.

Venkatesh has surpassed the packages offered to Surya, Mohan Lal, Sarath Kumar and Sudhip to reportedly draw a whopping pay packet of Rs 1.25 crore. The new co-owners of Telugu Warriors, the AMR Group, don’t mind digging deep into their pockets since the Telugu team is lacking the charm of superstars after the exit of Vishnu Manchu and Siddarth

"Venkatesh’s presence is likely to inspire and re-group T-town actors into winning a couple of matches, unlike the dampening first season. In fact, the superstar reportedly participated in CCL-1 without a remuneration, but this time he will charge a fee" said a source

“Besides the advantage of having his presence on field and in the dressing room, he helps in strategising batting and bowling plans. He is, undeniably, the only superstar in our team,” says a member of the Telugu Warriors

However, the co-owner of Telugu Warriors, rubbishes the pay cheque report as baseless. “These are just false reports and there is no truth to them.” Either way, Venkatesh’s presence has definitely made a marked difference to the “non-star” Hyderabad team.
