Dasari Narayana Rao launches Nani’s "Janda Pai Kapiraju"
Actor Nani, who is basking in the success of the movie Eega, has moved on to the shooting of his next movie Janda Pai Kapiraju, which is directed by critically acclaimed Tamil director Samuthakani. Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao launched the movie at grand function held at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on August 1, 2012.
Dasari Narayana Rao was the chief guest for the movie launch event of Janda Pai Kapiraju. It was a grand function, which witnessed the presence of noted producers like Tammareddy Bharadwaja, KS Rama Rao, C Kalyan, RB Chowdharay, Gemini Kiran and a few others.
Janda Pai Kapiraju is a bilingual movie which is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Nani is playing the lead role in the Telugu version, while Jayam Ravi essays the same role in the Tamil version. GV Prakash is composing the music for this movie to be produced by KS Srinivas.
Nani, who started shooting for the first schedule of Janda Pai Kapiraju on August 2, says that he has the toughest role in the film that he has never played before in his career. Amala Paul is playing his love interest in the film. Talking about the movie, the actor says, "This is the most challenging role I have come across in my career and I am looking forward to it."
